Newest AcuroVet® Release Features Prescription History and Refill Improvements

AcuroVet® continues its quest to simplify and streamline your veterinary practice management in its latest release, AcuroVet® 3.2.0!

Now, users can refill existing prescriptions or write new ones independently and have instant access to every patient’s prescription history, whether prescribed during a visit or directly.

How to refill a prescription or write a new one

To refill a prescription, go to the Prescription page and click or tap on the arrow (>) next to the prescription number to expand it. If previous prescriptions exist, you’ll see them listed. Click or tap the box next to the medication you want to refill to select it, and then click or tap the Refill button.

To write a new prescription, go to the Prescription page and click or tap on   to add a new medication.

Previously, users had to create a separate “Visit” in the software to perform these tasks.

These new Prescription features offer you accuracy, convenience, and efficiency whether in the clinic or on a farm call because AcuroVet® is cloud-based.

With instant access to a patient’s prescription history, you reduce the chance of errors in prescribing conflicting medications or the likelihood of lapses in refills.

If a patient requires a new prescription, AcuroVet® lets you immediately write a new one in real time and create an invoice.

Safely and efficiently managing patients’ prescriptions improves treatment outcomes. Successful treatment keeps patients healthy and their owners happy.
