SWVS, the Southwest Veterinary Symposium is a premier veterinary conference held annually, focusing on continuing education, hands-on sessions, and industry networking. In 2025, it’s returning to Fort Worth, TX, with over 400 hours of Continuing Education across 13 specialized tracks, thoughtfully sized sessions, and a welcoming host city atmosphere SWVS.

Frequently Asked Questions

Veterinarians (DVMs), veterinary technicians, assistants, students, practice managers, office staff, and relevant suppliers. A registered adult must accompany children 17 and under and can only access the Exhibit Hall, not CE sessions.

A detailed breakdown (Early-Bird through July 31 vs Standard from Aug 1 – Sept 28) for Veterinarians, Technicians/Assistants, Practice Managers/Office Staff, Students, Guests, and one-day passes is provided on the official site. Example: Vet Full Registration is $485 (Early-Bird) → $585 (Standard); First Year DVM is $250 → $300

Full registration includes access to most lectures (excluding ticketed labs/tours), Friday and Saturday complimentary lunches, Exhibit Hall, Sip-n-Shop, refreshment breaks, Coffee & Pastries (Fri–Sun), and Exhibitor Lunch & Learns.

No attendance requires registering for SVWS (full- or one-day). Ticketed events must be selected during registration and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis; waitlists are available.
