Little Hiro’s journey

December 19, 2020: during a cold winter night, a small dog was spotted on the middle of the road in Chiang Rai, Thailand. He was abandoned by his owner for many months. Through sheer willpower, he kept surviving despite numerous challenges. Luckily, he was found in front of a pickup truck in a weakened state. His eyes screamed for someone to show him kindness. The driver of the truck picked him up and took to an animal hospital. A vet diagnosed injuries on his face and fever. His long hair had to be cut for cleaning and treatment.

The AcuroVet^® team was requested for help during his hospital stay and his post-release future. We named him “Hiro”, which is a Japanese name with multiple meanings: 裕 means "abundant", 寛 means "generous, tolerant" and, 浩 means "prosperous". We are happy to report that Hiro has fully recovered thanks to the efforts of the amazing vets from the animal hospital. Everyone at AcuroVet^® is happy to see the outcome.

Recently, Hiro was adopted by a very loving owner. To this day, he still remembers the lady who rescued him every time she visits. AcuroVet^® supported Hiro’s rehabilitation by worked to assist him virtually in his journey to a new home. Now, Hiro has has few of his own friends in the neighborhood he lives in.
